We have several floor plans that fit a wide variety of lot sizes and topography, or we can use any architectural design that you have. Also, we can help if you have existing plans that need some special touches to make the plan fit your needs.

If you prefer one of our spec home floor plans, you can still be in control by getting involved before we start building.

Initial Considerations

Finances and Budgeting

Custom homes are considered a risky investment, and so a high credit rating is a must. You will also be required to put down a percentage (20%-25%) at the start of your build, so make sure that your finances are in order.

Builder Interviews

At Bock Construction Inc, we stress the importance of an initial interview. When you come in to our offices, this is your chance to get all your questions out of the way—so brainstorm as much as possible! We’ll ask you some questions as well, to make sure that you are prepared to move forward. Even if you don’t have clear ideas and goals, don’t worry. Conceptual meetings will give you all the inspiration you require.

Conceptual Meetings

Before we hammer any nails, you’ll be having multiple meetings with a Residential Designer, who will plot out how everything is going to come together. If you have specific ideas about what you require in a home, they can work with that. If not, they will have many properties they’ve already designed for you to choose and alter to your taste.

Then What?

Once you are satisfied with the concept presented to you by our custom home designer, the bulk of the work will be passed on to your contractor. Your contractor will be your best friend through this process, managing all builders and subcontractors and making sure your home is built on time and is fully up to code. If at any point your dissatisfied with the work being done in your home, your contractor is the person who will make it right. Contractors have been through many builds and know the ins and outs of the industry.
